Lutronic Genius is a non-surgical radiofrequency microneedling system that rejuvenates the skin’s surface.

What is it?

This microneedling system uses gold-plated needles and advanced technology to deliver radiofrequency energy that stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin. Stimulating these two proteins — necessary for protecting the skin’s surface — ultimately yields smoother, firmer skin and an overall refreshed appearance.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment for your skin rejuvenation goals. This state-of-the-art device delivers radiofrequency technology and energy along with microneedling deep within the layers of the skin where you need it most.

It can diminish visible signs of aging and improve the skin’s elasticity on the forehead, cheeks, eyes, chin, neck and chest. Lutronic Genius® can also effectively treat and improve acne scars. This treatment is appropriate for all skin types and tones.

What to expect

Treatments take place in our office, during which a handheld device delivers energy to the affected areas of the skin. Ultra-thin needles create channels on the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin growth.

You may experience mild discomfort during treatment, but once finished, you can continue with your day as usual. Our experienced skin care providers may apply a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort.

Results typically appear and are visible within two to three weeks of treatment. They’ll continue improving for up to six months as collagen and elastin increase. Patients require three to five treatment sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.
