Dr. Trevor Nessel is a compassionate dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. His clinical interests include the treatment of acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and skin cancer detection. He has extensive surgical experience with the removal of cysts, lipomas, skin cancers, and other skin growths. Dr. Nessel also enjoys providing consultations to develop personalized skincare routines and is a trained expert in Botox® and dermal filler injections. His ultimate goal is to help patients feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.
Originally from Novi, Michigan, Dr. Nessel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. He went on to receive his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at Corewell Health in Farmington Hills, where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Nessel is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Michigan Dermatological Society. He is passionate about global health and has participated in international medical mission trips to Honduras, Peru, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing soccer, and cheering on Detroit sports teams.
